Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-08-31
1. Nature of the Service & medical disclaimer
wound7.com and the "Wound7 Wound Tracker" app (together, "the Service") provide wound-care educational information and a self-recording tool. Content summarises international clinical guidelines:
- Not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment; it cannot replace individual assessment by physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Seek medical care immediately for red-flag signs (rapidly spreading redness, fever, severe pain); do not rely on the Service.
- Clinical decisions must incorporate local regulations, formularies and individual patient context.
2. Pro purchases (non-renewing)
- Two paid passes: Pro 90-Day Pass and Pro 1-Year Pass — both one-time payments that do not auto-renew; when a pass expires the app simply returns to the free tier with no further charges.
- Payment is processed by the Apple App Store / Google Play; store-page prices prevail.
- After expiry your recorded data remains viewable and exportable forever; only free-tier limits apply to new entries.
- On a new or reset device, use "Restore Purchases" on the paywall to recover an unexpired pass (same store account).
- Refunds follow Apple / Google store policies.
3. User responsibilities
- Your records are stored on your device only — back up regularly (use the app's export). Data lost through device loss, damage or uninstallation cannot be recovered by us.
- Exports contain wound photos; share them only with caregivers or clinicians you trust, and take extra care with the unencrypted viewing package.
- Do not perform medical procedures based on Service content without professional assessment.
4. Intellectual property
Content of the Service (text, infographics, code) is copyrighted by the developer. Educational content is welcome for personal and non-commercial teaching use (please credit wound7.com); contact us for commercial use.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is"; the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded are unaffected.
